Started in 1973, the Cramer Clan is currently
five...and predictably growing:
Carl Cramer (Dad)
Born and bred in Chillicothe, Missouri, he moved
to Janesville, Wisconsin in 1966 where he eventually
met his future-wife Lucille Brandt. They were
both teaching mathematics in the Janesville Public
Schools when they met, dated, and were then married
in 1973. Carl is retired from teaching mathematics,
but is still very active in educational organizations.
He is also active in his church, the local Macintosh
User's Group, a Ham Radio Club and in his hobbies
which include electronic & computer collection
and refurbishing, amateur radio (W9BJ), historical
documentaries, and non-fiction reading.
He also participates in the Senile Net (Ham Radio)
each weekday morning.

Luci Cramer (Mom)
Born Lucille Brandt, Luci was raised on a farm
in western Wisconsin. After high school, she studied
Mathematics and German at the University of Wisconsin.
Shortly after graduation, she took a teaching
position with the Janesville Public Schools. Upon
meeting and marrying Carl Cramer, she devoted
herself to her new family and left her teaching
position. Luci has been very active in her children's
lives and in her local church. After 20 years
at home with the children, she began working part-time
as a teacher's aide (teaching enrichment math
to small groups of students) at her children's
old elementary school in Janesville. In
2003, she became a Mary Kay Independent Beauty
Consultant. Now retired she also participates
in a local German language club, takes long walks
with friends, loves to play cards, and volunteers
regularly in her community. Luci misses
her pet canary, Sienna, who kept us entertained
daily with his beautiful concerts.

Alison Cramer
Alison is the firstborn and is stereotypically
competitive and driven, yet still loveable. After
graduating from Craig High School in 1992, she
attended university in Texas, graduating with
her BA in English in 1996. She married her college
sweetheart (Micheal Lentz, a Canadian) later that
year, and they moved to Seattle, Washington to
head into the unknown. Micheal graduated from
the University of Washington, BA in Architecture,
a few years later. Alison and Micheal both have
their own design studios, Alison's web design
studio:
Fluxonium,
and Micheal's design-build studio:
bauculture.
They've lived in Seattle for almost 6 years, excepting
the 6 months they spent living in Germany for
education and travelling in 2001.

Jon Cramer
The middle-born and only boy, Jonathan Cramer
(Jon) is an easy-going loveable guy with interests
in computers, gaming, fantasy fiction & anime,
hiking & rock-climbing, and playing cards.
Jon graduated from Craig High School in 1996 and
went on to attend one year of university in Texas
where he got the chance to travel to Europe, specifically
to work at an international camp for teenagers
sponsored by the university. Upon his return he
continued his education back in Wisconsin where
he earned his associate's degree in computer networking.
He married Charity Olson in 2004 and adopted her
two children, Keelien and Alexander, in 2005.
They now live in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Emily Cramer
The baby in the family, Emily Cramer is vibrant
and energetic. After graduating from Craig High
School in 2000, she started university at the
University of Wisconsin. A History major/French
minor, she spent a semester studying in southern
France, perfecting her French and travelling throughout
Europe. As a college senior, Emily was part of
a research grant in French Historical Studies
at the University of Wisconsin. After graduation
from university she attended law school at Hamline
University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She also
studied law in Rome, Italy for a summer.
She graduated in May 2009, passed the Minnesota
Bar Exam and will now work as an attorney.
She also enjoys her dog, Duke, and canary, Phoenix.
